Sorry this didn't help. Thanks for your feedback. I'm had the same problem, i couldn't even use my Official DVD for Windows 8 to refresh, nor could I get a legit copy of windows 8. In the end I just gave up and re-installed from Scratch, then go through the whole upgrade processes again. If anyone knows a better way please let me know, will save allot of head ache in the future.
Really micorosft, you have to require a disk in order to restore your computer. My guess is close to 0. Love it, absolutely love it. My keyboard just broke from all the rage, and at this point I'm on the verge of a mental break down, all because companies do not look towards their customers anymore, and what ways can make them the most money. Is there any way to restore Windows 8 without a media disk, as my computer is from CyberPowerPC and they do not give out media disks for windows 8, I simply have the serial number and that's it.
Short post, and less angry post. I went to use Restore to factory settings, or the Windows 8's trash version of it, and get this error. Well, They give you the Windows 8 key and that's it.
