Anyone who holds a license that has been expired for more than two years will need to take an Initial Qualifier course to have their license reinstated. This course is approved for the 12 hours needed to reinstate your license. When you complete the Initial Dwelling Contractor Qualifier Course, you will receive a certificate of completion that you can submit with your application. Anyone applying for a Dwelling Contractor Qualifier certification needs to complete 12 hours of an approved initial qualifier course in dwelling construction within one year of applying for the license.
