I was excited to learn that Windows Live Messenger was now available for Blackberries. I have located its availability at:. The Yahoo! Messenger and Google Talk! Yahoo and Google downloaded great for me as well. Using a BlackBerry Pearl. I would expect an answer from RIM here. Please advise me on downloading msn messenger in my blackberry pearl and it wont even connect to hotmail, is this a problem with RIM or is it our service provider.
Just baught a blackberry peal , tried to download windows live and it says does not meet system requirements. I go to status and there is bytes free still. Almost May and still no answer about windows live messenger for blackberry. What about the curve? It has loads of memory. All say the site requires activex controls and I need to use IE.

Hi, interesting discussion. So upseting that I terminated my live account invited all my contacts to Google Talk. Screw Live Messenger! It apparently works, it connects, I see the contact list with display pictures and everything, I can send messages, but somehow I cannot receive them sometimes. I know two users that use windows live messenger, blackberry messenger, gtalk, icq and all application service using wifi.
